Junior Achievement’s Next Generation Leaders Forum
Junior Achievement’s 2012 Next Generation Leaders Forum is a youth forum of the top future leaders from around the world. The event, which is taking place August 12-18, 2012 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, is hosted by Saint Mary’s University and the Sobey School of Business. It is a multinational, multicultural exchange of knowledge and ideas where participants work together to build new skills, new relationships and new global perspectives.
These Achievers have been individually selected for outstanding performance in the JA Company Program, chosen to attend for the opportunity to advance their career. These young people are among the highest potential youth in the world, and the next leaders of industry and society. They will shape the future of business. This experience provides them with confidence, belief and direction to succeed in a global economy.
This year’s Next Generation Leaders Forum will challenge youth from around the world to use their innovative spirit and knowledge to solve real business challenges. The experience will allow tomorrow’s leaders to gain real-life understanding on the power of innovation, and the inspiration to realize their potential.
Next Generation Leaders is one of the most widely attended youth professional development forums in the JA Worldwide® organization with 11 countries participating this year.
